 After a Long hard day at work I catch a wave & Roll with a few Friends to AFRIKIKO which has a very nice restaurant above along with a slice of heaven for me in the basement. 🙂 I Can’t Lie the Highlight of the night was T Face performing War Ready. I literally came down stairs, The energy was ecstatic, I was getting chucked around along with losing a hefty portion of my 10% ginger beer with 90% Rum 😦 while my camera flying out of my hands on various occasions, Everyone was going NUTS, It was chaotic in this dimly lit sweat box.

Afrikan boy done a surprise Performance & P Montana Killed on the decks throughout the night, Shellers !!!!!

Pissed Naira Marley didnt turn up! 😦

D Double E at the 02 Islington Academy

D Double E at 02 islington Academy was a Grime kids heaven. The Legendary mc brought  practically brought the whole Grime scene on including Chipmunk, Jammer, Kano, NASTY CREW, Stormin, Sharky Major, JME, Skepta, Kano, Capo lee, Discarda, Tempa T, MEZ, Flowdan, Teddy Bruckshot, Armour, Hitman Hyper, Slick man party, Killa P & Footsie to do a few Newham Generals tunes including “Hard”.

D Double’s first song on his setlist was “Colours” from his Debut Mixtape “on a double’ he  done another old school Jem also dropping “Birds in the sky”.

The most Favourite and memorable moment of the evening was when D Double E Performed “Serious Thugz” with JME (Produced by Skepta refixing Bone thugs & harmony “Thuggish Ruggish Bone”.  It is arguably my favourite Grime Songs of all time. That night was pure happiness & Hype ! you literally can’t get better than this when it comes to a Grime show.
