D Double E at the 02 Islington Academy

D Double E at 02 islington Academy was a Grime kids heaven. The Legendary mc brought  practically brought the whole Grime scene on including Chipmunk, Jammer, Kano, NASTY CREW, Stormin, Sharky Major, JME, Skepta, Kano, Capo lee, Discarda, Tempa T, MEZ, Flowdan, Teddy Bruckshot, Armour, Hitman Hyper, Slick man party, Killa P & Footsie to do a few Newham Generals tunes including “Hard”.

D Double’s first song on his setlist was “Colours” from his Debut Mixtape “on a double’ he  done another old school Jem also dropping “Birds in the sky”.

The most Favourite and memorable moment of the evening was when D Double E Performed “Serious Thugz” with JME (Produced by Skepta refixing Bone thugs & harmony “Thuggish Ruggish Bone”.  It is arguably my favourite Grime Songs of all time. That night was pure happiness & Hype ! you literally can’t get better than this when it comes to a Grime show.

I AM NEXT – Novelist at The Old blue last

On a Sunday evening after work I make my way down to The legendary Old blue last. The night was a massive road block. I was lucky to get in. I’m glad I did because the night was chaotic and Skepta making a Appearance to spray a few bars & give Novelist his plaque for Konnichiwa was the icing on the cake.

J Flowz Killed it & I was feeling House of Pharaohs vibe, Their energy is insane and they know how to turn up and etc. I have seen them live a few times live but they are really not my cup of tea, Not really feeling that American Rebore bollocks.

I then rolled to Alibi after & had a quick Catch up with Jammer & caught a few pictures.
