D Double E at 02 islington Academy was a Grime kids heaven. The Legendary mc brought  practically brought the whole Grime scene on including Chipmunk, Jammer, Kano, NASTY CREW, Stormin, Sharky Major, JME, Skepta, Kano, Capo lee, Discarda, Tempa T, MEZ, Flowdan, Teddy Bruckshot, Armour, Hitman Hyper, Slick man party, Killa P & Footsie to do a few Newham Generals tunes including “Hard”.

D Double’s first song on his setlist was “Colours” from his Debut Mixtape “on a double’ he  done another old school Jem also dropping “Birds in the sky”.

The most Favourite and memorable moment of the evening was when D Double E Performed “Serious Thugz” with JME (Produced by Skepta refixing Bone thugs & harmony “Thuggish Ruggish Bone”.  It is arguably my favourite Grime Songs of all time. That night was pure happiness & Hype ! you literally can’t get better than this when it comes to a Grime show.

Waking up in Brockley with a Dirty hang over from a house party in Peckham on Friday,  On a very hot Saturday afternoon Me & my best Friend Crofton stumble along to Rinse Fm’s, Born & Bred. on the way to Born & Bred we Catch Novelist at New cross gate station on the way to a show in Nottingham. I catch a few snaps while he is wearing his new track suit collab with Joy Rich rocking his new Grillz dedicated to his friend that passed away, HERBZ. The trains on the overground were a myth so we roll up a bit late but I think we got there at the right time. SURPRISE SURPRISE WILEY DIDN’T SHOW UP ! #WheresWiley

Big H ft Flirta D, Meridian Dan & Footsie – Been Doing This [Music Video]

Big H returns with a powerful banger with a modern Refix of Wiley’s classic instrumental “Igloo” featuring : Flirta D, Merdian Dan & Footsie.

Big H Brutally sprays his Hype bars, accompanied by his Signature flow, which will send a crowd through the roof at a rave. I think it was an excellent Choice for Big H to get Flirta D on “Been doing this”, It is perfect track for him to go over. Meridian Dan does the track justice with his straight forward hard hitting bars. However, Footsie’s first verse was Quite disappointing, The bars where good, it just seemed a bit flat with no emphasis, nevertheless, Footsie makes a comes back with the second part of the track.

It is Infamously known in The Grime scene, that Bloodline are absolute Myths with their releases and just Myths in general. I have honestly been waiting for about 3 years for President T’s Mixtape “The Stranger Returns”,  There hasn’t been any word about a release as of late , I remember I saw Prez T, a year or two ago on Tottenham High road and asked him whats the release date of The Stranger returns ? Prez T replied,  “next month I promise”, It never surfaced…..

It’s kind of been the same story with Fire & Smoke. Big H has went on about it for years saying it’s going to be out next month  ( & practically said that every Month), but it just keeps getting put off,  supposedly it going to be released on Itunes, on the 10th of September. Lets hope and pray to God it will be.
